The Paradise Flycatcher is a medium-sized common bird in all countries of Asia. The male Paradise Flycatcher has elongated central tail feathers, and black and rufous or white plumage. Females are short-tailed with rufous wings and a black head.
Adult Paradise Flycatchers are 7.5–8.7 inches long and their wings are 3.4–3.6 inches in length. Asian Paradise Flycatchers inhabit thick forests and well-wooded habitats.
