The provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has decided to setup chairlift between Naran and Lake Saif ul Maluk. Naran, Kaghan Valley is one of the most wanted tourist destinations in Pakistan and Saif ul Maluk Lake is the most charming attraction in the valley. The landscape from Naran to Saif ul Maluk Lake consists of pine forests, river and snow capped mountains. The chairlift will take less than 10 minutes to reach the Pakistan’s most famous lake. Due to heavy snow in winters, raining and land sliding, the traditional 12 KM muddy jeep road results into a difficult excursion for tourists with families in the tourist season.

Another attention-grabbing chairlift installation was also decided for the thickly forested and magnificently scenic Shogran Valley in Balakot Dist. before the Kaghan Valley. This exciting initiative is expected to help in enhancing the attractions of Kaghan Valley for local and foreign tourists.

An official meeting was held in Peshawar and the Chief Minister of KPK chaired the meeting. According to APP, the CM was also informed that the consultancy services had been hired for installing chairlift from Naran to Lake Saif ul Maluk and the project feasibility had been prepared.

    1. Well said. Such projects create lot of interest in travelers and tourists and government shall expedite the progress. We can hope that tourism related authorities will take notice of it for priority implementation.

It is also bring into your notice that Jeeps drivers and their union are the main hardens in the tourism development of this region. first they destroyed the better track form naran to saif ul malook in year 2003 not they want to install the chair lift. it is requested to the government to take severe action against jeeps drivers and union. they loot the tourist in the season .
    please also built some resedental hotels at saif ul malook and lala zar
