A colourful exciting three days Silk Route Festival in Gojal, Hunza district has been concluded. A large number of locals and foreign visitors including Ambassadors from Ukraine‚ South Korea‚ North Korea and Azerbaijan joined the festival.  Residents of Gilgit-Baltistan welcomed the guests in traditional spirit. People gathered at Rakaposhi view point for welcoming the visitors.

The festival was held from October 25, 2013 to October 27, 2013. The traditional dance, music and cultural show inspired the foreign guests. Silk Route Festival was an initiative to promote peace, boosting the local tourism industry and image building of the country.
