A three-day Baroghil festival is going to start from August 14 in Baroghil valley, Chitral. This full of thrill and colors festival will include freestyle wild polo, yak polo, horse race, mountain marathon, yak race, tug of war, Buz Kashi, lifestyle shows and handicraft exhibition. Arrangements of food and accommodation had also been made by the tour operators in the valley for tourists facilitation.
Baroghil is located at 13,000 feet above sea level and is famous for its beautiful landscape, snow covered peaks and the majestic Karambar Lake. More than 25 other small lakes with three major passes connecting the valley to Wakhan Corridor in the west. The valley is 260KM from Chitral city and is accessible only by jeep, which takes 12 to 15 hours to reach there.
